Types Of Supplements
Are you looking for ways of adding different supplements to your diet? There are a number of different things you can do—you can take pills, drink liquids, or take powdered supplements. All of these supplement types contain a great amount of vitamins and minerals. In fact, it doesn’t really matter which type of you take because you’re going to get the same stuff. The only difference is in the delivery method. For some people, one type works better than others.
Taking your vitamins and supplements in pill form is the most traditional. Many people take a few multivitamin pills in the morning or take supplements throughout the day. It’s quick and easy, and you can carry these pills with you in a bottle or sorter. All you need is a drink of water to take them and you’re done. There’s nothing else to do. Unfortunately, there is a downside to pills: you have to remember to take them with you and to actually take them at the right time.
Liquid supplements are another great option. While you may not find things like vitamin C or fish oil as a liquid supplement, you can purchase different juices and other products that contain a large amount of different vitamins in them. These supplements are very easy to take—just drink them. If you don’t like the taste of them straight, you can mix them with some other juice or even add them to tea. It all depends on what you find the best.
With a liquid supplement, you can simply replace whatever you usually drink with breakfast or lunch with the supplement. It’s that easy. You don’t have to worry about forgetting something because you always need something to drink with your meal. However, one drawback is if you go out to eat. It can be more difficult to take your own beverage to a restaurant—many frown on this, so that’s one area where pills or powders work better.
These other methods require you to actually add things to your diet. You have to remember to take those extra pills or drink that shot of liquid supplement. What if you could simply add something to the food you’re already eating? You can, and it’s really simple. Just add a little bit of the powdered supplement to your meal. For example, you can mix it in with your pancake mix to create pancakes that are both tasty and healthy.
What about other things? You can mix these powdered supplements in with just about anything: cakes, cookies, soufflés, lasagna, scrambled eggs, omelets…just about anything you make can have a little powdered acai berry supplement added to it.
But you don’t necessarily have to take powder with your food. You can also add it to water or any other drink. Just add equal parts water and powder for it to fully dissolve. Then you can drink your supplement in whatever your favorite beverage is. Again, the powder doesn’t necessarily have a lot of taste to it, so you won’t have to worry about making some kind of concoction that’s not going to taste good.
You may also want to start taking an acai berry supplement. Research has shown that a supplement such as the acai berry may be able to provide you with a number of benefits.
