The B vitamins are also good energy boosters. They don’t work the same as caffeine or caffeine substitutes, however. Instead, they affect the way the body metabolizes foods and the energy that comes from these foods. So the more Vitamin B2, B12, niacin, thiamine, and folic acid you take, the better the body will be able to convert nutrients into food—up to an extent, of course.
