If you are consistently seeing numbers that indicate prehypertension, then it’s time to go see your doctor.
How can you deal with prehypertension? One thing to do is to reduce the amount of salt in your diet. Another thing is exercise. Being moderately active for at least 30 minutes a day can help lower your blood pressure plus help you lose weight, which will also help with prehypertension. Being overweight can make the condition much worse in addition to bringing about a number of more health issues. Cutting back on alcoholic beverages and smoking, of course, are also very good things to do.
