Dealing With Migraines

A migraine is a horrible type of headache that is somewhat like a sinus headache or a tension headache, but unlike headaches, migraines are often hereditary and can come on very frequently. They’re often also accompanied by visual or audible hallucinations, a sensitivity to light, nausea, or vomiting. Symptoms

Visual auras – you may start to see weird, flashing colors or lights when you have a migraine. Others see patterns. Some people actually lose vision in an eye or have spots that go totally black. There are some medications that have been developed for migraines, and they are usually prescription drugs. You can talk to a doctor about taking these medications. They may come in the form of nasal spray, skin patches, or even injections. Some medications can be taken regularly to prevent migraines. These are especially good for those who suffer frequently.
