It’s actually a really good source of protein, but it can also help to lower your cholesterol, prevent heart disease, and reduce the effects of hot flashes, one of the symptoms of menopause.
Another sign of menopause and growing older in general is having memory issues. This is where fruits like the blueberry come in. It will help keep you mentally sharp plus help combat illness and disease.
You’ll also need to increase the amount of vitamin E in your diet, and that means adding foods like the avocado. Of course, you can take a vitamin E supplement, but eating avocados also gives you monosaturated fats, which will help keep your skin and hair healthy.
Finally, something you shouldn’t do: drink a lot of caffeine. This can actually decrease your levels of vitamin C, plus the stimulant in caffeine will affect your hormones, which are already going to be changing anyway.
You may also want to start taking an acai berry supplement. Research has shown that a supplement such as the acai berry may be able to provide you with a number of benefits.
